Kristen and Michael had a wonderful wedding on New Year’s Eve. The weather was reasonably cooperative, allowing us to capture some very nice indoor and outdoor images.
What a lovely wedding. The reception was a hoot, complete with a band, DJ, party favors and a live broadcast of the ball in Times Square!
Congratulations Kristen and Michael! Best of luck to you both!
Saturday was another testy fall day. Though we didn’t get the snowstorm that gripped the northeast, we had a few flakes in the morning.
The ladies started out at Covington spa for hair and makeup.
The wedding ceremony was held at Saint Peter’s Cathedral, a beautiful church in downtown Erie.
After formals, we headed to Frontier Park for some lovely fall images. The rain stopped long enough for us to finish our outdoor portraits and head to the reception.
The reception was held at Union Station. The decor, dinner and entertainment were first class.
Congratulations Rachael and Justin!
Saturday was Amanda and Joe’s day! They had perfect weather and an amazing wedding. Following formals, we headed out to a special place for some fun images.
The reception was at the Erie Maennerchor ballroom, one of my favorite places in our town. Though a bit dark, we managed to light it up and create some great images.
Congratulations Joe and Amanda!
After last week’s rain, it was a welcome sight to see the sun out once again. Saturday was sunny, warm and a perfect October day for a wedding.
Rebecca and Trent were married in Edinboro, the town where they went to college (at my Alma Mater, Edinboro University
). Following a memorable wedding ceremony at Our Lady of the Lake,
we traveled around the town of Edinboro for some great outdoor photos, including some park images and fun shots near “Angus”, the new Fighting Scot statue.
The reception was at Nick’s Place
, where the decor was favorable to good indoor lighting (always a plus for wedding photographers), as well as some nice sunset images for the Bride and Groom. Nick’s people are always so nice, and the food, so good!
Our groom, Trent, is in the National Guard. Thank you Sir, for your service to our country.
Congratulations, Rebecca and Trent!
Saturday October 2nd started and finished with a steady rain. But it was warm and dry inside the Sunset Inn, on Erie’s lower east side
. This lovely club, nearly 90 years old, is run by Michael and Paula Barrett, and maintains all of the old 1920’s character with a clean, classic image and great service.
Anita and Jon were going to have an outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, but the weather suggested otherwise. Some quick rearrangement by the staff set up a neat ceremony area indoors, near one of the fireplaces. A lively reception followed the ceremony, with many in attendance kicking their heels to the sounds of many decades of great music.
We captured some great images of the happy couple and their loving families and friends. Congratulations and best wishes, Anita and Jonathan!
Last Saturday was a fine day for a wedding. Kaycee and James were married at Our Lady of Peace, which has a wonderful open, red motif. Following formal portraits in the church, we stopped by Frontier Park and joined a few other bridal parties for outdoor images at one of our nicer city parks. I got down in the creek, hopping on rocks, and captured this great bridge shot. The reception was in the Mannerchor Ballroom, one of my most popular locations. They had some special lights for their reception, and it added a nice touch!
Phil and Sarah had a lovely wedding at the Ambassador
. Though the weather was overcast, the ceremony was held in the Garden Atrium
and the lighting was perfect. Following the traditional formals and some fun outdoor images, the reception was held in the Hemingway Ballroom
Congratulations, Phil and Sarah!
Last weekend, Catherine and Patrick had a wonderful outdoor wedding ceremony. The setting outdoors was amazing, with a Mediterranean themed setting. I’ll post images on the dining setting later.
Here are some great images of Catherine, Patrick and their families and friends from this great ceremony.
Last Saturday was a perfect wedding day. Not too hot, and no rain until after the reception began.
Art and Betsy’s ceremony was very nice, featuring a candle ceremony offered by the bridal party.
Following formals at Our Lady of Peace, the bridal party headed to the beach for some outdoor images, and then we headed to the reception.
Betsy and Art, you are a great couple!
Last Saturday was a toasty day, with the constant threat of rain. We did catch a bit during formals, but it cleared before we left the church.
Russell and Heather were a wonderful bride and groom, and their families were very caring and supportive.
We captured some remarkable images both indoors, and outdoors on the campus of Penn State Behrend.
Great images, Heather and Russ!
